Memorial Day Weekend Camping Trip
5/26/08
Mr. Munley took students on his tenth camping trip to the Delaware beaches this past weekend. The weather was beautiful, and the boys enjoyed a variety of activities. On Friday, they grilled hamburgers and hot dogs at the site and then went to Rehoboth Beach to explore the boardwalk. Saturday morning, they enjoyed a big breaksfast before setting off on a fishing charter boat at noon. All of the boys either had a fish on the line or caught one. We hauled in over seven sharks! David Kang caught the biggest fish -- a 20 pound black drum.
Back at the marina, they had their fish cleaned and then took them back to camp where they fried up some of the shark.
Sunday, they had another big breakfast and packed up camp. They then headed to the beach for a couple of hours of football and soccer before coming back to Phelps that afternoon.
