The Phelps School is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Louis Giangiulio to our staff.  Dr. Giangiulio, also known as Dr. G, recently worked at Weiser & Associates in Wynnewood after six years as an Army pediatrician.  He grew up in Wayne and is a graduate of Malvern Prep.  Dr. G did his undergraduate work at The Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1999.  Dr. Giangiulio completed his internship and residency in pediatrics in Washington DC at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethseda, MD.  He was stationed for three years at the US Military Academy at West Point, NY as a general pediatrician where he also consulted as the wrestling team physician.

Beginning this fall, Dr. G will be serving as the primary physician at Phelps.  He will do sick call every weekday morning, dispense medication from the Health Office on our campus, and address our student comprehensive health concerns.  Having a licensed pediatrician available on a daily basis is a phenomenal privilege and unique experience for a school.  We are excited to have Dr. G’s expertise at our disposal and welcome him to the Phelps community.
