Tuesday, May 10th was "Rocket Day" at the Phelps School.  The Rocketry Team wore their official t-shirts for this weekend's Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC).  Fellow students showed their support and wished the team good luck. 

      The team will travel to the Washington, DC area Friday afternoon.  The competition begins Saturday morning after opening ceremonies at 8:15 am.  The 1st round of student rocket launches will begin at 8:30 and continue every hour until 1:30.  The top 20 teams will launch again at 3:00 pm to determine the winners.   Phelps is one of 100 teams that qualified for the national finals.   The top ten finishers will be awarded cash and scholarships totaling $60,000.   Good Luck Team..."Look to the Sky.
