AJ Bishop was featured as the Student Athlete of the Week on the Andy Reid Coach's Show on 94WIP on Monday, October 17th.

"Tonight we are proud to salute the "High School Student-Athlete of the Week" brought to you by your local Chevrolet Dealers. Andrew Bishop from The Phelps School. Andrew is a junior and is an integral part of the Lions varsity soccer team this year. Last season Andrew was the leading scorer for his soccer team and was vital team member in their 4A title run.
This season Andrew is leading Phelps in scoring with 21 goals and7 assists through just 12 games. He has had 7 multi-goal games and 10 multi-point games this year. Academically, Andrew has a 3.5 Grade point average and is striving to play at a small college in the future. He is already drawing a lot of college attention due to his dominant offensive skills and ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates.
Andrew is the ultimate "Team Player." He has also been involved in giving back to the community as a volunteer in youth soccer programs by helping develop aspiring players.
