Laurel Program
The Laurel Dual Credit Program currently offers college credit for some of the courses offered at Phelps through partnerships with the University of Pittsburgh and Immaculata University. These courses include:
International Relations
American Politics
College Composition
Statistics and Data Analysis
These classes are open to juniors and seniors at Phelps and taught by faculty with a graduate degree in their field. These courses have the same format and schedule as most Phelps courses but allow the students to register with the partner university for three or four credit hours per class that can transfer to the student’s college after they graduate from Phelps.
