Service
At Phelps, learning to be a better man means helping others.
Kindness, compassion and thinking about others prepares boys to become good citizens and caring individuals.
All students are required to complete 10 hours of community service each school year, a requirement to be promoted to the next grade and for graduation.
Service must be for the general good and must be voluntary, unpaid and on the student’s own time. Various school sponsored trips will be offered throughout the school year that can be used towards a student’s community service requirement.
